Alpharetta Business Association

The Alpharetta Business Association (ABA) is pleased to announce the donation of $5,000 to the Alpharetta High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (AHS FBLA).

AHS FBLA chapter members donated service time to help the ABA with the successful execution of the 2016 Alpharetta Business Expo and Startup Technology Showcase. Students assisted exhibitors with set up, greeted attendees, promoted the days events on social media and worked diligently throughout the event to make it a success. Exhibitor survey results indicated an overwhelmingly positive view that the involvement of FBLA students in the Expo was substantial to its success.

This FBLA Chapter will be competing on a national level in Anaheim in June. At last years FBLA National Conference in Atlanta, about one-third of the 140 chapter members who competed, succeeded in local, regional and state competitions, reaching the national event. ABA is pleased to make this donation in appreciation of their service to ABA and to help lighten the expense burden of a trip to the west coast, as they represent the Alpharetta community at the national competition.
