Dr. Jim Morrow Receives Distinguished Award
Dr. Morrow and his wife, Peggie, head The Forsyth BYOT Benefit, which contributes to local children and families who cannot afford the necessary resources to be successful under todays teaching methods. Public schools rely on technology (laptops, tablets, and smartphones) to teach children, and The Forsyth BYOT Benefit exists to make sure everyone has the technology needed to do well in school and to get the most out of their education.
This is such an incredible honor, said Dr. Morrow. To have my alma mater recognize the work that Peggie and I have been doing is very fulfilling. There is still a great deal of need in our area, so we plan to continue to do what we can for these deserving students.
