The Milton Historical Society, citizen-driven, not-for-profit organization, will study and communicate Miltons vibrant but little-known history. The organizations first effort was volunteer research for the City-funded Historical Marker program commemorating sites, persons, and events significant in Miltons history.

The Societys plans include establishing a history room with research capabilities, and a repository for historic documents, photographs, artifacts, and family histories.
