Cherokee Recreation & Parks Earns National Accreditation Cherokee Recreation & Parks joins the ranks of elite agencies across the country by earning accreditation through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). This accomplishment was awarded during the 2021 NRPA Annual Conference, held in September in Nashville.“One of our values at Cherokee Recreation & Parks is ‘Quality & Continuous Improvement.’ National accreditation is difficult to achieve and represents a major milestone in the growth and improvement of our agency.
