Dee Dee Doeckel of Woodstock was installed as treasurer of the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at the organizations recent national conference. Doeckel previously served on the board as District 2 director.

Doeckel is the executive director for external affairs at Chattahoochee Technical College in northwest Georgia, serving the counties of Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding, and Pickens. She is responsible for strategic communications and advancement for the college and has been in marketing and sales for over thirty years.

As part of the national board of directors, Doeckel will serve as a voting member, help shape organizational policy, and contribute to the planning of membership programs and services.

NCMPR supports the professional development of community college communicators, serving more than 1,700 members from nearly 530 colleges across the United States and Canada.
