Woodstock’s Caldwell Named to 40 Under 40 Leaders in Atlanta

Black Airplane, an award-winning creative software development firm that builds apps and websites headquartered in Woodstock, today announced that co-founder and partner Michael Caldwell has been named to Atlanta’s “40 Under 40” class of 2021 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Each year, these awards spotlight 40 people under the age of 40 who are the next generation of Atlanta’s business and community leaders. Michael Caldwell leads the operations and business development teams at Black Airplane. In addition to his professional work, he is a former, four-term member of the Georgia House of Representatives, and he was appointed by Gov. Brian P. Kemp to serve on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Technology Authority. Most recently, he was elected the 31st mayor of the City of Woodstock and will officially take office on January 1, 2022.
